After your shots are made, you can set up a website you can use as your portfolio. An easy choice would be to use WordPress, with thousands of free and paid themes offered. Wix is another great resource for easy website creation. And of course, having a good profile on social platforms like Instagram would be a good idea and get give you extra exposure if you dedicate some time to it.

Make sure your nails are well treated, your hair is washed. You’ll be surprised how many shots I had when the model showed up with a terrible manicure. It cost extra time to deal with that, and sometimes I have to do a lot of retouching in Photoshop.
Be respectful and courteous to everyone you work with, from photographers to makeup artists to fellow models. Remember that you are representing not only yourself but also your agency and the brands you work for. At the end of the day, it still is a very small world, and one unpleasant experience can really damage your career.

Invest in your education as a model, learn to pose, and how to work with photographers.
